Bills We Do Not Support

Bill 28: The law that is on the Books (Bill 28) – The Public Services Sustainability Act (PSSA), brought in by the Pallister government, is a law that fundamentally undermines collective bargaining rights in Manitoba. It was declared unconstitutional by the MB Court of Queen’s Bench on June 22, 2020.  The MB Government filed their appeal on January 4, 2021 and the remedies portion of the trial is scheduled for November 22 – 26, 2021.  Court proceedings are open to the public.
